Past Event: The Reproduction of Harm: Trafficking, Prostitution, and Pornography

November 26, 2012 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

| Free

There are multiple and mutually supporting connections between trafficking, viagra prostitution, treatment and pornography. Speaker Peter Qualliotine will examine the consequences for victims/survivors of commercial sexual exploitation and for buyers/consumers of commercial sex. We will also explore the implications of trafficking, prostitution, and pornography for broader societal concerns about sex equality, sexual violence, and human rights.

Peter Qualliotine is the co-founder of Organization for Prostitution Survivors (OPS), a Seattle-based group dedicated to stopping the harm of commercial sexual exploitation. Since the early 90s, he has advocated for victims of this form of exploitation and has worked to promote male accountability in stopping violence against women and children.
