Past Event: Easy Ways to Shop Slavery-Free

August 13, 2013 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

| Free

It is challenging to always buy products you know are ethically produced, but we know some folks who can help!

PCC Markets recently became the first grocery chain in the country to sell chocolate made from only ethically sourced cocoa. Eli Penberthy, associate editor of PCC’s Sound Consumer, is helping us put together a panel of ethical-sourcing suppliers to talk about how consumers can make a difference in the lives workers and potential trafficking victims.

Come hear the ways you can use your shopping cart in Seattle to fight slavery around the world!

Free parking available in the alley and lot alongside the Hillel UW building.
